An emotional Aamir Khan talking to a divorced mother who was forced by her husband's family to abort six female pregnancies, a woman whose husband bit her face and other women who have come to find out the hard way that daughters are not welcome in their family. According to his statistics the ratio of girls/boys being born has grown worse in recent years and selective abortions are a common practice among the literate and the wealthy although many people think it's the poor and the illiterate who are doing this.
